Willis Raburu and his girlfriend Ivy have today, September 12, 2022, welcomed their second child.

Ivy broke the news on her Instagram stories and confirmed that the procedure was a success.

“My daughter is here, safe & sound. She’s beautiful & God is so good,” an elated Ivy explained.

She then shared photos of the baby’s grandmother holding her as well as Willis and his sibling watching Ivy and the newborn bonding in bed.

The TV journalist then posted a photo of his large finger being gripped by the newborn, with the soundtrack of Elevation Worship’s Million Little Miracles playing in the background.

Ivy and Willis held their baby shower a week ago to celebrate with family and friends.

Their first child is a son, Mali, who was born 14 months ago. It was at Mali’s birthday party that Raburu proposed to his girlfriend, and she said yes.

Ivy and Namu got together months after he and his ex-wife officially divorced in 2020.

Due to the highly publicized nature of his breakup and eventual divorce from his ex-wife, Marya Prude, the couple opted to keep their relationship and pregnancy under wraps until it became impossible for them to hide it.

The newborn girl is Willis’ fourth child. Two of them died due to miscarriages his ex-wife had.

According to a past Nairobi News report, Marya revealed people did not know she’d had two miscarriages as the last pregnancy loss came at a much later stage. The baby was stillborn. They had named her Adana.

In previous interviews, Willis said that the child losses led to the end of his marriage to Marya Prude as grieving took its toll on both of them.

In the end, he accepted that he hadn’t been the husband Marya needed back then as he couldn’t see past his grief which led him down a path to depression.
