Did Ayeiya have a premonition of his death?
Just moments before he met his untimely death, popular comedian Emmanuel Makori better known as Ayeiya, did something on stage that was a bit curious.
After what turned out to be his final act on the Churchill Show on Thursday evening at the Carnivore Restaurant, Ayeiya silently walked off the stage without the usual background music.
And this was not accidental because its Ayieya who had requested the house DJ to let him walk out off the stage without any music.
Perhaps very few of his fans in attendance found this unsettling until news broke early on Friday morning that Ayieya had met his death later that night in a grisly road accident along Magadi road.
The accident occurred near Catholic University of East Africa junction after the car the comedian was in hit an electricity post.

According to police reports, Ayeiya was also in the company of his fellow comedian Paul wa Kimani and renowned actor Maina Olwenya of the hit film Nairobi Half Life, who both sustained injuries and are currently recuperating at Kenyatta National Hospital.
The police are however yet to confirm who was behind the wheels when the accident occurred.
Fellow comedians eulogized Ayeiya, who leaves behind a young daughter, as a funny and a very generous man who would never refused to greet the hands of those coming for the show’s auditions.
Ayieya attended Utumishi Academy High School before joining Nairobi University for a degree course in Mass Communication.
From his humble beginning in comedy, Ayeiya would rise to become part of the creative team in the Churchill Show.
