Comedian Chipukeezy targets Tanzanian songbird Zuchu after Diamond split

Comedian Vincent Mwasia Mutua aka Chipukeezy has appeared to flirt with Tanzanian songbird Zuchu, days after she reportedly ended the romantic affair with her boss Diamond Platnumz.

Chipukeezy, also a renowned master of ceremony, openly suggested on one of Zuchu’s Instagram posts that he was ready to have a private conversation with the Sukari hitmaker if she was available.

“Nislide ama ni too soon (Can I slide in your Direct Message or is it so soon),” he commented on Zuchu’s post.

Chipukkezy’s comments come amid speculation the renowned songbird, real name Zuhura Othman, had fallen out with Diamond Platnumz after a publicized fling that lasted about two years.

Speculation on the split reached a crescendo when Zuchu, who is signed up by Diamond’s Wasafi label, deleted all his photos on Instagram.

Critics however claim the fallout could be artificial and geared at chasing clout, possibly ahead of an album launch involving the pair.

Confirming the breakup, Diamond, who’s in the past struggled to remain in a relationship for more than two years, suggested Zuchu was now ‘his sister’.

“Together with Zuchu, we want to inform you that for now we are like brother and sister unlike before,” Diamond clarified.

Diamond has been romantically linked with up to 15 ladies including one Hawa, Wema Sepetu, Hamissa Mobetto, Zari Hassan and Tanasha Donna.

Chipukeezy, meanwhile, made his name for his rib cracking jokes on the Churchill Live comedy show.

His talent has opened doors for him and in 2018 he landed an appointment to serve in the board of directors at the National Authority for Campaign against Drug Abuse (NACADA_.

He’s recently been spotted emceeing at events graced by President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel.

Chipukeezy has in the past been linked with a number of romantic relationship including Vivian Mandera (Empress Kerry) and Kibanja.
