Comedian Elsa Majimbo’s donated all her money to the needy
US-based Kenyan comedienne Elsa Majimbo has captured the hearts of many with her humorous videos, but it’s her recent act of generosity that has further endeared her to fans.
In a video shared on social media, the 22-year-old sensation expressed her desire to give back to society and share her success with others.
In the video, Elsa revealed that despite her considerable earnings, she felt compelled to give back rather than hoard her wealth.
She acknowledged that while she enjoys the finer things in life, there are people who are in greater need and could benefit from her financial resources.

Reflecting on her decision, Elsa shared, “A little over a year ago, I asked them to drain all the money in my bank account and give it to people who need it more than I do.
My reasoning was, as a 20-year-old, I couldn’t justify earning half a million dollars (over KSh 60 million). It’s on Forbes. It’s public information. I couldn’t justify that.”
The young comedian emphasized that while she indulges in luxuries such as flying first class and owning designer bags, she recognized that there is still an abundance of wealth beyond her personal needs.
Elsa consciously chose to direct her manager and business manager to distribute the funds to individuals who require assistance.
“When I came to this decision, they were telling me, ‘You’ve earned it, you’re so talented, you’re so deserving.’ But other people are talented too, so why aren’t they in my position? Other people are deserving as well to be in the position I’m in today,” Elsa explained.
Grateful for her own success, Elsa acknowledged her blessings and expressed her desire for them to impact the lives of others positively.
While she hopes to continue earning and achieving even more, she believes in the power of sharing her blessings with those in need.
