Businessman Praful Kumar was in August arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives in August for allegedly attempting to bribe Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.

Kumar had gone to Governor Sonko’s home in Kanamai, Kilifi County with Sh1 million.
