Courts acquits 40 Asians arrested in Runda for cyber crime
A magistrate court on Friday acquitted 40 Asians arrested in Runda estate and ordered that they be repatriated to their countries.
Among the 40 are 35 Chinese and five Taiwanese.
Senior Principal Magistrate Joyce Gondani ruled that prosecution failed to prove that they were involved in running unlicensed telecommunication system.
