Dandora couple denies kidnapping infant
Drama unfolded in Dandora phase 4 area on Saturday after curious neighbours confronted a couple who they accuse of kidnapping an infant.
The neighbours said the woman had returned on Monday carrying an infant although they had never seen her pregnant in the preceding months.
When they confronted the couple to demand for an explanation, the woman claimed she gave birth at Jordan medical centre, in the neighbouring Saika estate.
Her husband, Morris Omondi, said he was willing to undergo DNA test to prove that he had fathered the baby.
Curiously, the woman did not have any documentation identifying her as the mother of the infant.
Police from Kinyago police station took the couple to the clinic, where the woman claimed to have delivered the baby, to confirm her claims.
