David Ndii finally opens up on his night in police custody

Nasa strategist David Ndii has been giving one-word responses to queries about his night in police custody.

The economist only used the word ‘respectfully’ when asked about how police treated him.

He later elaborated his response writing; “They were civil and respectful. They were just following orders.”

And to a question on whether the experience made him realize that there is a government in place, he replied; “incompetent.”

One user suggested that Ndii stops responding to the inquiries about his arrest. He responded; “don’t sweat small stuff.??.”

In the end, it was clear from Ndii’s responses that he was treated “respectfully by civil officers in an incompetent government.”

It was also clear that at the moment, the economist ,who is part of the December 12 swearing-in committee, is concentrating on matters of national importance.

Ndii was arrested on Sunday evening in Diani and driven to Nairobi’s CID headquarters for questioning.

Police said he was being probed for incitement to violence but on Monday evening, DPP Keriako Tobiko ordered for his release on police bond.

He was released on a Sh10, 000 bond and photos of his mother all smiles as he left the police station were shared.
