Davido, Chioma tattoo each other’s names
Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke alias Davido and his wife, Chioma have taken their marital commitment a notch higher by inking each other’s names on their ring fingers.
This comes weeks after they were reported to have gotten married in a traditional wedding.
The couple is believed to have made their union official on November 6, 2022, six days after the death of their son Ifeanyi.
According to reports in the Nigerian media, only close family members were allowed to the traditional wedding, but without their mobile phones.

It’s also believed that the singer paid Chioma’s dowry in full.
“The traditional wedding which has few family and friends in attendance with no camera allowed was done in Davido’s father’s House and Chioma’s bride price was paid in full, this is coming after Chioma told Davido that there is nothing left for her to be looking at as the son that binds them together is no more,” popular Nigerian blogger, Gist Lover’s Gram reported.
The blogger further reported that the wedding, which had initially been planned for 2023, was held on November 6, 2022.
“The wedding which was supposed to come up next year was fast forward to November 6 just to console Chioma and assure her that with or without a son, her place is assured, their registry is coming up sometime next week, the Traditional marriage was held November 6,” he added.

“Both couples are still mourning and Chioma has lost a lot of weight but the Adeleke family are trying all they could to make sure both husband and wife are fine.”
The source went on to disclose the reason why Chioma has been off social media.
“Chioma is still trying to be fine and under serious watch as a few weeks before Ifeanyi’s death, her personal room was mysteriously burnt and the source of the fire was not known till today so her family decided she won’t be coming back to social media anytime soon so they don’t harm her any further.”
The couple’s son died after allegedly drowning at Davido’s Banana Island mansion. The couple was not home at the time of the incident.
