Dennis Itumbi speaks out on relationship with Citizen TV reporter
State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi has opened up on the nature of his relationship with Citizen TV reporter Jacque Maribe, days after a photo of them getting cozy emerged online.
Itumbi, who spoke to Nairobi News, said “Jacque is a friend” and kept insisting on the four words on further probing.
When asked when and where the photo was taken, he refused to give details. He stated that they are friends.
Jacque Maribe has in the past been said to be in a relationship with comedian Eric Omondi.
She recently got a baby boy and never uttered a word on her baby daddy.
Days before the photo of her and Itumbi surfaced online, Eric had confirmed in a media interview that the two were an item.
The comedian was said to have funded Jacque’s All White birthday party last year, during which photos of the two kissing leaked on social media.
Itumbi, on the other hand, has been close to Jacque and even hosted a surprise baby shower for her at his house when she was expectant last year.
