Diamond thrills fans at star-studded show
Bongo artiste Diamond lived to his reputation as one of the best Bongo musicians with a thrilling performance in Meru on Saturday.
Scores of diehard fans arrived at the Meru Polytechnic grounds in their numbers to watch the star who took to the stage shortly after 2am.
The chilly weather did not dampen Diamond’s spirit as he moved the crowd with his sterling performances of some of his popular songs including Nana, Wangu, Moyo Wangu and Number One.

“We are happy with all the artistes who performed. It was a once in lifetime event,” said aid Watanashati classic entertainment boss Kelvin Mundiga.
Local stars, including Nameless, Nassizu, Otile Brown, Natty Mwalim and Mr Lenny who curtain-raised for Diamond’s show also staged a thrilling performance.
June Kanana said she was wowed by the star-studded event.
“It was simply breathtaking. We expected a lot from Diamond and he delivered,” she said.
