Diamond, Zuchu Valentine wedding ‘was a hoax’
Tanzanian musicians Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s reported Valentine wedding turned out to be a hoax.
The wedding, slotted for February 14 had been confirmed by the Sukari hit maker’s mother Khadija Kopa, who even went ahead to bless the soon to be couple.
But come the D-day, Diamond alias Naseeb Abdul Juma ,refuted claims the two were dating.
Instead the Waaah hitmaker explained the move to walk with her down the red carpet at an entertainment event was just for the cameras.
“I walked down with Zuchu when I was introducing her to the world now when she is a superstar I’ve done the same thing. A child does not grow from the father,” he said in a media interview.
Diamond also confirmed he knows Zuchu’s boyfriend and is happy for her on that front.
“As long as my artist is happy and everyone is happy, I support whatever she is doing. Happy Valentines Zu,” he added.
Even though the two did not mention their lovers, they wished them a happy valentine with Diamond revealing he was seeing someone.
“Happy Valentine’s day baby and thank you for everything. You are amazing and you are very important to me,” Zuchu said while adding that Mahaba Ndi Ndi Ndi was her most treasured valentines gift.
