DJ Fatxo announces music comeback with gospel song
After a three-month hiatus, Mugiithi artiste DJ Fatxo is making a grand return to the music scene.
The popular ‘Di Mang’a’ hitmaker took to his Facebook pages to announce his comeback, revealing that his new song is a heartfelt thanksgiving track titled ‘Ngatho’.
In his announcement, DJ Fatxo reflected on the ups and downs of life, saying, “I tend to believe that sometimes the bad times in our lives put us on a direct path to the very best times kwa maisha yetu (in our lives).
He thanked his fans for their unwavering support, especially for voting him the E360 Mugithi Artist of the Year 2023 amidst all the chaos after he was named a person of interest in the death of interior designer Jeff Mwathi.
DJ Fatxo also gave his fans a sneak peek of his upcoming debut movie.
He urged them to subscribe to his channel and turn on notifications to make sure they don’t miss out on the exciting project.
The song is set to drop on 6 June at 10 am and has promised to shake up the music industry.

The announcement comes after DJ Fatxo faced a difficult time earlier this year.
“I tend to believe that sometimes the bad times in our lives put us on a direct path to the very best times kwa maisha yetu,” he posted last night.
In an interview in May, he revealed that he had considered quitting music due to threats from some fans who falsely blamed him for the murder of Jeff Mwathi.
The artist opened up about the immense pressure and challenges he was facing as a result of the allegations.
The situation has taken a toll on his personal life, with some friends abandoning him in his time of need.
DJ Fatxo also made it clear that returning to the spotlight was not necessary for him.
“It’s not a must for me to come back into the limelight either. People are so fake out here,” he said.
He compared the situation to politics, where people do not necessarily vote for leaders, but rather try to get rid of them, even though they are the same people who put them in power.
