A video is making its rounds on social media showing a woman stealing a mobile phone from a boutique in Thika.
The footage captured by a CCTV camera on Monday afternoon shows the woman pretending to be checking out various clothes on sale at a stall in Thika, before she stretches her hand to the counter to steal the phone.
She then looks around to ensure no one has seen her before dashing to the exit.
The yet to be identified woman in spectacles wore a white hoodie and a navy blue jeans.
Little did she know that a CCTV stationed right on top of her head captured the whole incident.
Members of the public are requested to help identify her.
