Driver of speeding bus that caused outrage arrested
The driver of a bus which was filmed dangerously overtaking an oil tanker in the process forcing oncoming motorists out of their lanes has been arrested and the bus detained.
The video of the speeding Mombasa bound bus (registration KCN 973R) belonging to Tahmeed Couch Limited on Friday had Netizens calling on the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) for the arrest of the reckless driver.
NTSA officials in Voi acted after the video captured by a concerned motorist went viral on social media.

The authority, while replying to a Twitter user, who wanted to know if action would be taken on the driver, confirmed that the issue had been dealt with.
Many Kenyans on Twitter have called for stern action to be taken against reckless drivers who endanger the lives of passengers, pedestrians and other road users.
