Enterprising Kenyans are reaping from the celebratory mood that has engulfed most parts of the country after the Supreme Court upheld the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Jubilee supporters are selling both Kenyan and Jubilee flags to motorists and residents who have joined the celebrations.

A big flag go for Sh100 while a small one sells at Sh50 and the business seems to be doing well going by the accounts of those interviewed by Nairobi News.

“We have made about Sh10, 000 since morning selling this flags,” said Christopher Ngare.

Mr Ngare, a boda boda rider, has said that he has been forced to ‘boycott his usual job’ and venture into selling the flags and he is not regretting his decision.

Ngare, together with four colleagues, are selling the flags along Thika highway.

Robert Mwangi, Mugo Njoroge, Joseph Karuru and James Kamau have also left selling fruits and bottled water to cash in on the moment.

The same scenario is reflected in most stops along the usually busy highway with women and men selling whistles.
