Eric Omondi, girlfriend suffer miscarriage
Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi took to social media to mourn the death of his unborn child after his girlfriend, Lynne, suffered a miscarriage on November 7, 2022.
He uploaded a video onto Instagram showing him and Lynne in hospital where she was writhing on the floor in pain going through the motions that accompany miscarriages.
In the video, a hurting Lynne could be seen crying in pain as Eric attempted to comfort her.
“Last night was one of the longest nights in my life. We fought over five hours to save our little angel but God had other plans. We never met you but we sure felt you and will forever love you. With respect to all the women, no man on earth has that kind of strength. Lynne, stay strong…it is well,” mourned Eric as he added Jamaican musician Shaggy’s Strength of a Woman hit as the background song to the video.
This would have been Lynne’s first child and Eric’s second known child.
According to the Mayo Clinic, miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a pregnancy before the 20th week.
Miscarriages are often accompanied by vaginal spotting or bleeding, pain or cramping in your abdomen or lower back; and fluid or tissue passing from one’s vagina.
“Pole kaka, Mungu awe nanyi,” condoled Mulamwah.
“I can’t imagine what you guys are going through, poleni,” said Nasra Official.
“Poleni sana Eric and Lynne. May God guide you through,” said fellow comedian Eddie Butita.
Other Kenyan celebs and influencers who condoled with the couple included Arrow Bwoy, Naiboy, Hope Kid, Henry Desagu, Cebbi Koks Nyasego, Nameless and thousands of Eric’s fans and followers.
Eric and Lynne have been dating for a while now. Lynne is a model in her early twenties and had been in a secret relationship with the controversial content creator before she finally confirmed the duo was a couple.
The two have been Instagram official for a few weeks now following rumours that Lynne had been nursing a secret crush on Eric for years despite him being in relationships before committing to her.
