Eunice Njeri: First person to propose to me impregnated someone else
Eunice Njeri has oppened up about her turbulent relationships in her 20s. The person she thought was the love of her life, proposed to her, then got someone else pregnant,
In a sit-down interview with YouTuber Jacktone Otieno, Njeri was asked about some of the lowest moments of her life and she revealed that after receiving a marriage proposal, her fiancé impregnated another woman.
“I was a girl from the rural areas and I had to adjust to being a city girl. The relationships I had made me uncomfortable, especially in the face of my parents being married for 40 years.
I did not know what breakups were. My mum married the first man who proposed to her so I thought that in my life, I would marry the first man who proposed to me.”

“But the first man who proposed to me got somebody else pregnant. I was 20 years old. I went to church and I rebuked that man like the devil.
I thought someone was holy but he was out there doing his things and all these things brought just a little bit of disappointment for me and I don’t know what I was disappointed with. Was it in myself or that guy or that I couldn’t relate well with men…” Njeri expressed in part.
She further revealed that this induced doubt in her over whether she could be in a relationship if her man would go to another woman when he had just asked for a serious commitment from her after three years of dating.
Njeri’s revelation of this proposal also came years after she walked away from her one-day marriage to gospel rapper Isaac Bukasa – alias Izzo Raps – in 2016 in the United States of America.

She took to social media to address the shocking news that had gone viral in Kenya, explaining that indeed she had married Isaac but the marriage was annulled and they both decided to go their own ways.
“On the day of the wedding, I realized I couldn’t do it. My heart was somewhere else, probably in Africa doing what I do best.
I’m still trying to figure it out. I immediately left for Kenya and have been serving God the best way I know how to. Like every other relationship, we hit a rock, maybe a little too early but have since overcome,” said Njeri.
