EXCLUSIVE: DNG throws family into a panic by cancelling wedding
Popular radio presenter and events MC Davidson Ngumbuini, aka DNG, caused panic early last week after he momentarily cancelled his much anticipated wedding, the Nairobi News has exclusively learnt.
DNG sent a text message to family members and close friends saying that he would not be marrying his girlfriend Yvette Nungari this March as expected.
Our source did not disclose the reason why the wedding was called off, although close family members suggest the two disagreed on many issues about the wedding plans and they decided to cancel it altogether.
CONCILIATORY TALKS
However, by the end of last week, close family members and friends had sat down with the couple to try and help them solve their differences.
The conciliatory talks were successful as DNG texted the invited guests again saying the wedding was still on.
The radio presenter and Yvette are scheduled to get hitched on March 7 at an undisclosed location in Nanyuki.
According to reports, the two met in Dubai early last year while DNG was on holiday.
Yvette works in Dubai.
The couple already has had several traditional ceremonies in preparation for the main wedding.
