EXCLUSIVE: How Guardian Angel’s wife Esther rescued daughter from depression
Esther Musila, the wife of Kenyan gospel artist Guardian Angel, is celebrating her 53rd birthday surrounded by love and warm wishes from her family and friends.
In an exclusive interview with Nairobi News, Gilda Naibei, Esther’s daughter, shared heartfelt memories and expressed her deep admiration for her mother’s unwavering support and love.
Gilda fondly reminisced about her mother’s dedication to her family, saying:
“My mum used to drop us off at school every morning and pick us up every evening without fail for about 16 years. She never missed a beat.”
Esther’s commitment to her children’s well-being extended beyond their education.
When Gilda expressed her desire to study in South Africa, Esther wholeheartedly supported her daughter’s dreams.
Gilda added, “She stayed with me in South Africa until I was settled down, and she supported me through every step of my journey.”
Tragedy struck the family in 2016 when Gilda’s father passed away, plunging her into a deep depression.
Recognizing her daughter’s pain, Esther stood by her side and ensured she received the best possible care.
Gilda tearfully recounted:
“She understood what I was going through and got me the best healthcare to take care of me. We went for counseling together, and she has always been so supportive and amazing.”
Gilda expressed her desire to see her mother treated with the same love and care she had always shown her children.
Describing Esther as someone who never gives up on those she loves, Gilda expressed her gratitude for her mother’s unwavering support.
“When she got engaged to Guardian, that man is a way of God repaying her for who she was to her children.”
On Esther’s special day, Gilda wanted to convey her heartfelt message, saying:
“I want to tell her that she is the most amazing mom and friend. I don’t need to have so many friends when I have her and my siblings. We love you so much.”
Esther Musila has not only been a devoted mother but also the biggest cheerleader in terms of her daughter’s work.
Her husband, singer Guardian Angel also took to social media to express his joy in having her in his life.
Sharing a heartfelt message, Guardian Angel honored his wife, stating:
“Can’t believe it has been three years already. It has been the best part of my life. Loving on you is the sweetest experience ever. You rock my world, queen blessings on your birthday @esther.musila you are my everything,” he said.
