Exclusive: Mercy Kyallo’s mystery lover dishes on steamy romance
Betty Kyallo’s younger sister Mercy is dating a bearded man whom Nairobi News identified as Robert.
Affectionately known as Robby, Robert has finally shed light on how he crossed paths with popular reality star Mercy Kyallo.
In an exclusive interview with Nairobi News, the bearded businessman revealed that their connection blossomed through a mutual acquaintance, Betty Kyallo, who happened to be Robby’s client.
Speaking openly about his relationship with Mercy, Robby expressed his unwavering focus and commitment to their bond.

He stated, “Right now my whole focus is on one person and that person is Mercy. I don’t care about the background noise, the hype or her fame.
My only mission is to support her in any way I can. She is the woman I have been looking for.”
When asked about the spotlight that comes with dating a public figure like Mercy, Robby admitted that he may not be fully prepared for it.
However, he remained open to whatever might come their way.
He emphasised that his priority is how he treats Mercy, not how the public perceives her.
Reflecting on their friendship, Robby revealed that he and Mercy have known each other for over a year and a half.
Their connection was initially formed through Mercy’s sister, Betty Kyallo, who played a role in their introduction.
As a businessman, Robby preferred to let Mercy speak for herself before revealing further details about their relationship.
He confessed to being unsure about being judged.

When asked about an engagement between him and Mercy, Robby playfully replied:
“I plead the fifth.”
During the launch of Kyallo Kulture, Mercy – who previously shared an affectionate photo with Robert – expressed her belief in not hiding her significant other from the public.
“If the Obamas and the Beyonces don’t hide, who am I to hide him?” Mercy said confidently.
She said she sees her relationship as something worth celebrating openly, regardless of the challenges that may arise.
“And yes, I may not be married yet, but I consider myself successful. In the past, I have had amazing people in my life with whom I have shared incredible moments, but I have refrained from posting about them for fear of public judgement and the relationship faltering.”
Mercy said she wanted to enjoy the presence of her current partner and create cherished memories.
During the Kyallo Kulture launch event, Mercy and Robert were seen keeping a respectful distance.
