“We spend a lot of time together and go to many events to support our friends and business partners. If we are not satisfied at the time the events end we head out for more drinks,” she explained.

The mother of two is also keen to stress how being her husband’s best friend has helped the relationship stand the test of time.

“We can barely stay for long without the other. Hata tukijaribu kuachana (when we decided to stay apart from some time) like if one of us is on a trip without the other it becomes difficult.”

Sarah and Simon hit the headlines in early 2022 after having a public spat.

She later accused him of denying her access to the kids before issuing a public apology. Looking back, she now says it is a difficult moment as the couple initially tried to separate only to bury their differences after the venture seemed impossible.

“Tumejaribu kuachana tukashindwa (we once tried to separate but it was not difficult), so we have decided to stay together,” she says.

“I specifically do not want to comment on that issue (the spat) but I can say we are fine.”

Known to share her two cents about many topics with women and young girls, the entrepreneur had tips for the youth.

“Do things the legal way. Don’t just assume just because you have moved in together and have kids that everything is solid. It’s good to legalize things because you don’t know what could happen.”

On some of her marital challenges, she says: “If I was to talk about the challenges I have gone through many would be surprised. Most of those issues you are dealing with I have experienced them like 10 times. That’s why I reached I point where I don’t want to live a fake life anymore. Now I will live the real life of who I am.”
