The viral TikTok nurse, Elizabeth Lukresia Robai alias the dancing nurse, will enjoy an ambassadorial deal plus a paid vacation in Zanzibar for four days courtesy of Expeditions Maasai Safaris.

Robai, who was captured dancing to a popular toddler’s song ‘Baby Shark’ to a hospitalized child, earned the vacation thanks to the viral video.

Robai was filmed bursting out moves to the gleeful delight of a hospitalised child. She won over the little patient’s heart and warmed the hearts of millions of Kenyans.

Having gone viral on Tuesday, Robai shares that she is adjusting to the newfound fame. With the video garnering over 2.3 million views, Robai notes that she even forgot the dancing style while entertaining her patient.

“I was so caught up in the moment and seeing the toddler grin was shocking. I have danced to other people before but the young one’s reception was heartwarming,” she shares.

However, Robai, a fully sponsored diploma student at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Kitale, shares that she is currently in her second year and hopes to pursue a higher diploma once done next year.

With her former high school posting her after she went viral, Robai notes that the gesture warmed her heart. “I hear KMTC is planning something to appreciate me and I can’t wait,” she says, smiling.

Though inactive on Facebook, Robai notes that the nastiest comment she received on TikTok was body shaming her.

“There was someone who commented that I was now fat to the extent jumping was problematic,” she reveals, and that she did not let her spirits dwindle since she is quite aware of her body size.

However, as time goes by, Robai has experienced many comments body shaming her.

Being the last born in a family of three, Robai says the most embarrassing moment was when she fell in school.

“I was walking and did not see a stone on the way so I fell and people laughed at me. Up to date I do not know whether it was because my dress flared up or I took time getting up.”

Though she does not have a TikTok crush, Robai shares that she admires Moya David, who went viral with surprising people and dancing for them.

On whether she is seeing someone, Robai shares, “I am very much single and open to a relationship. However, there is one characteristic I am looking for that I will be the gauge.”
