Why family of man killed in grisly road accident wants to meet King Kaka and Jaguar
The family of the late Dominic Macharia, a former Bidco employee and part time graphics designer whose head was decapitated in a grisly road accident at Gwa Kairu along Thika superhighway, are looking for an opportunity to present musicians Jaguar and King Kaka with portraits he drew of them while alive.
Macharia’s mother Mary Ng’endo told Nairobi News that she would be glad to present the two musicians with their portraits.

“My son was so much inspired by the two through their music and he kept drawing their images and storing them. I think it would be good if the two would get to see them,” said Ng’endo.
The late Macharia’s interest in art started way back in his primary school days.
He grew sketching random images, portraits and whatever interested him until 2011 when his mother enrolled him at Zetech to study Graphics Design with the view of sharpening his skills in art.
“The most memorable image is the one he drew of the Pope.Its so beautiful you’d think its a real photo,” said Zeina Ali, Macharia’s cousin.
Macharia’s last portrait was that of a weeping woman which his family found in his house after his demise.
His mother said she is willing to give the portraits to Jaguar and King Kaka for free but ‘wakinunua ni sawa’.
