No thanks! Kenyans reject fashion advice from Ministry of Sports
The Ministry of Sports and Heritage was on Monday scolded for its attempt to teach Kenyans how to dress during this cold season.
Through its official Twitter handle, the ministry had tutored Kenyans how heavy dressing is most appropriate for the cold season.
It even went through the trouble of uploading a sample of two dresses, one made out of light fabric and another from heavy fabric, to differentiate the kind of clothes appropriate for the current weather.
Many were dumbfounded on where the ministry got its mandate to comment on fashion matters. Some cheeky Kenyans inquired if fashion had become the ministry’s side hustle.
Others thought it was a Twitter goof but interestingly, the tweet had tagged the Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa’s personal account.
