Ferdinand Omanyala loyal to his wife despite 300 women tempting him on social media
Ferdinand Omanyala, Africa’s fastest man, has expressed his gratitude and admiration for his wife’s unwavering belief in his dreams, especially during the times when he struggled to support their family.
Laventa Amutavi and Omanyala first crossed paths in 2016 at a kibandaski – makeshift food stall, where Omanyala instantly felt a connection on first sight.
However, it took him seven months of pursuing her before she finally reciprocated his affections.

At the time, she was a student at Moi University pursuing a degree in social work, while Omanyala was at the University of Nairobi.
During the early stages of Omanyala’s career, when he was still trying to establish himself, his wife played a pivotal role in shouldering the family’s financial responsibilities.
While he was juggling various commitments and studying at university, she worked diligently at Mama Lucy Hospital.
With her hard-earned salary, she supported their family. She even encouraged Omanyala to invest in his talent, saying, “Ferdi, take this money and use it for your training and other needs.”
Although Omanyala contributed what he could, his income as a national athlete was minimal. Winning a race would earn him a mere Sh5,000.
Recognizing this, Omanyala emphasized his wife’s crucial role, providing more substantial financial support.
Her unwavering trust in him and her belief in his dreams formed a strong foundation that propelled them both forward.

As Omanyala’s athletic career gained momentum, he became a public figure, attracting attention from numerous admirers.
However, he made it clear that he remains committed and faithful to his wife, ignoring private messages from women with ulterior motives.
He stated that he doesn’t engage with individuals with intentions that are not genuine and straightforward.
His social media managers sift through his messages, and only important or relevant messages are brought to his attention.
Omanyala firmly establishes his boundaries and maintains his focus on his career and family.
Acknowledging the temptations that come with his newfound fame, Omanyala confessed:
“If I were to engage in an affair with every woman who shows interest, I would have more than 300 affairs.”
He expressed gratitude for the support and attention he receives from women who are drawn to his success, but he remains steadfast in his commitment to his wife, ensuring he knows where he stands in all interactions.
