For years, former KTN news anchor and Ugandan BBC journalist Nancy Kacungira kept her love life secret as it remained unclear whether she was single or married.

However, on Wednesday she announced that she had tied the knot.

She made the announcement in a post on Twitter that captured in a white wedding gown.

“I got married. It was such a beautiful day!” she captioned the photo.

The journalist is believed to have tied the knot last week after she shared photos of herself in a wedding gown and captioned them, “Thank you God for a day more beautiful than our families could ever ask for.”
