Frenchman seeks to stop charges of sodomising Kenyan friend

A French national has gone to court to challenge his prosecution on a charge of sodomy.

Mr Jean Francois Louis Raymond Damon lives and works in Kenya as a director of called The Sleeping Warrior lodge. The tourist lodge is located in Soysambu ranch, Elementaita.

He is accused of sodomising the Kenyan man two years ago.

He has sued the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), the Inspector General of Police, Naivasha chief magistrate and the Attorney General.

The Frenchman  claims he was arrested and detained at Naivasha police station and paid Sh120,000 for his release in August.

He claims his prosecution is malicious since the alleged offense is said to have been committed two years ago and that a medical report does not reveal injuries allegedly suffered.

He also claims that the CID in Naivasha recommended that there was no sufficient case against him.
