Full list of celebrities who performed at President Ruto’s swearing-in

All the artists who performed at the inauguration of the fifth Kenyan President William Ruto were part of the Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC) music initiative.

The PPMC Director, Dr Donald Otoyo announced that they will be performing music that they recorded specifically for the swearing-in ceremony hosted at Kasarani Stadium.

Some of the songs performed include Asante, a collaboration between Solomon Mkubwa, Charity Nashipae Music, Maureen Awuor, Betty Bayo, Karwirwa Laura, Dr Mbuvi, Fenny Kerubo, Hezron Marwa, Mum Cherop and Annastacia Mukabwa.

Other songs include Leo Ni Leo, a song performed by Sanaipei Tande, Arrow Bwoy, Nadia Mukami, and Bridget Blue. And Mungu Amebariki Kenya a mega collabo between Pitson, Ruth Matete, Fredrick Omondi, Florence Andenyi, and Shiru Wa GP Kenya.

Chipukeezy who was the MC for the entertainment segment took to his social media where he wrote, “Hosting Kenya’s 5th Presidential Inauguration today! 13/09/2022, History Books will remember.”

Singer Pitson echoed his excitement, “It gives me great Joy to be part of the Presidential Inauguration music team. Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity to sing before Kings. I will never take this lightly.”

The guest artistes who performed were gospel power house Zabron Singers from Tanzania.
