The funniest ‘Mexico Maize’ memes on social media
There are more questions than answers over the 30,000 metric tonne maize consignment that docked last week at the Port of Mombasa.
Even after the cargo was received by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary, Willy Bett, the government says it did not order for the maize from Mexico, rather it was imported by private millers.
The online community had a field day on social media questioning how the ship made it to the Mombasa port hours after the announcement was made.
