Gangsters shoot dead accomplice in Ruai after deal goes sour
Suspected gangsters shot dead an accomplice on Tuesday in Ruai in what is suspected to have been a deal gone sour.
According to Kayole OCPD Joseph Gachangi, the three were on a drinking spree in the evening when the incident happened.
“They were drinking at a local bar in Ruai when one of them came ran outside after a disagreement with his colleagues and they followed him and shot him dead before they left,” Mr Gachanga told Nairobi News.
Mr Gachanga added that they are the same suspect who shot and injured two civilians along Kagundo road while trying to flee from police officers who were on patrol.
SHOOTING
“The three were on a motorcycle and when they saw police approaching, they started shooting at the police and in the process two civilians were injured,” said Mr Gachanga.
Mr Gachanga explained that the two civilians are in stable condition after they were rushed to Mama Lucy Hospital with bullets wounds.
“We have incredible leads on the suspects and we are pursuing them and it is only a matter of time before we apprehend them,” he said.
