Harambee Stars to play Tanzania in friendly
Harambee Stars will play Tanzania’s Taifa Stars next Tuesday in an international friendly match in Dar es Salaam.
Harambee Stars tactician Adel Amrouche has called a full squad for the fixture which falls under the Fifa calendar.
Already a number of foreign based players have arrived in Nairobi for the duel.
AC Ajaccio striker and former captain Dennis Oliech arrived on Sunday and is looking forward to the match.
“It is great to come back and represent my country and I look forward to this match which we hope can help the team rise in the Fifa rankings,” said Oliech.
Amrouche confirmed he has also recalled Norway-based goalkeeper Arnold Origi, who is expected in the country on Thursday.
“Victor Wanyama (Southampton), David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng (Al Tawuon) and Jamal Mohammed (Oman) have all arrived and are ready for the match,” said Amrouche.
Amrouche further said he will use the opportunity to have a meeting with the senior players and plan for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
