Harmonize’s latest song inspired by his Rwandan bae

Tanzanian bongo flava artiste Harmonize has opened up about the inspiration behind his new song titled Morning Call.

The award-winning singer, who was on the verge of giving up on love after his nasty breakup with Tanzanian socialite and actress Fridah Kajala, revealed that his newfound love breathed life into his romantic side.

In a post on his Instagram page, the Single Again hitmaker revealed that his Rwandan babe is behind the new song, which he will release next week, June 2.

Harmonize also prayed that the song will be a global hit, saying it sounds like Afrobeat and even sharing some beats with his fans.

“Morning call on June 2nd. It’s funny, I’m on tour and I started to love someone in Africa where the inspiration came from. It sounds like a real Afrobeat global hit maybe Inshallah. 2 June.”

As well as taking inspiration for his song from his lover, Harmonize had previously shared plans to tattoo his body with the face of the Rwandan influencer, identified as Phiona aka Yolo the Queen.

This, he said, would be the last woman’s face he would draw, even after covering his Kajala and Paula tattoo with the Mount Kilimanjaro tattoo.

“Okay! I’m getting my last tattoo. I will never paint again. Of course it is of your beautiful face Phiona”.

The singer went on to reveal that he was buying a house in Kigali to be as close to his lover as possible.

Hitting out at his ex-lover Kajala, Harmonize revealed that Phiona was “above every girl I have ever met in my life”.

He added: “When you have money and fame, the world is very complicated. It is really hard to know who is really into you. I have been talking to Phiona for over four years. I have been around. She has been around.”
