Have chicken come home to roost at Ruto’s poultry farm?

Kenyans are astonished after police in Eldoret arrested four suspects found with trays of eggs suspected to have been stolen from the farm of the Deputy President William Ruto in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu.

The farm manager on Monday reported that 10 crates of eggs worth Sh2,500 went missing in an unclear circumstance.

“Our initial investigation revealed that four workers who reside inside the homestead were involved in the theft but they all denied,” said Eldoret West police boss Zachariah Bittok.

He said this prompted police to do a search and the trays of eggs were recovered.

The DP who attended meeting in the Rift Valley over the weekend was not at home when the incident happened.

Kenyans on social media were shocked by the news.
