Former BBC Africa presenter Ciru Muriuki has revealed her joyous news of getting engaged to popular actor Charles Ouda.

The couple, who have captured the hearts of many with their adorable moments, gave their fans an exciting glimpse into their engagement journey.

In a captivating life update video posted on her Instagram page, Ciru Muriuki playfully teased her followers about what had recently transpired in her life.

With a mischievous smile, she quipped:

“So nothing bad happened? You didn’t wreck it? You didn’t hit anybody? You didn’t run anybody over? You didn’t get a speeding ticket?”

As the audio continued, Ciru humorously made a puzzled face, saying:

“Why are you making that face? Did you get a speeding ticket?” She playfully shook her head before revealing the most precious part of her announcement—the engagement ring on her right hand.

In a heartwarming moment, Ciru nodded toward someone off-camera, and to the delight of her followers, actor Charles Ouda stepped into view.

His smile radiated happiness as he pointed to the glimpse of the engagement ring, confirming the joyous occasion.

Ciru Muriuki and Charles Ouda’s endearing engagement announcement has been met with warm wishes and congratulations from fans and friends.

Charles Ouda is a well-known figure in the entertainment realm, having left his mark on numerous film ventures such as ‘Makutano Junction,’ ‘The First Grader,’ ‘Count It Out,’ among others.

Ouda is also a film director, scriptwriter, and events manager.

His exceptional talents and unwavering commitment have garnered him a host of esteemed accolades, including the distinguished title of Best Director at the 2016 Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shoot Out, in addition to multiple awards from the NYC Indie Film Awards.

Back in June, Ciru introduced her podcast to her fans adding that she was teaming up with Charles Ouda as co-host for the podcast.

“Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way over the past three years… but here I stand!” Ciru penned in her announcement.
