Ida wants touts seized for stripping woman
Cord leader Raila Odinga’s wife, Ida, on Sunday condemned last week’s stripping naked of a young woman for alleged indecent dressing.
Mrs Odinga asked Inspector-General of Police David Kimaiyo and Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko to move with speed, arrest and prosecute those behind the the city centre attack.
Mrs Odinga said the action was a gross violation of the Constitution and women’s rights.
She was speaking in East Yimbo during the burial of Mama Joyce Aluoch.
