I’m born again and pray at midnight – Ferdinand Waititu

Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu on Monday revealed details about his religious side hitherto unknown to the public.

Mr Waititu said he is a born again man, but who has borne the burden of a misjudged character.

“Am a saved man but people see me differently. I understand the scriptures more than you think” he told clerics at the burial of Mr Eliud Muchiri Gathangira, the personal bodyguard of Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a.

Mr Muchiri died in a grisly road accident along the busy Thika Superhighway, opposite Juja Police Station, on October 01, 2016.

Mr Waitutu testified how he is fond of waking up at midnight to pray.

“I have learned that if I wake up and pray, my prayers are answered and nothing goes wrong. You all need to believe me,” he told the mourners in Magutu, Nyeri county.

He affirmed that he is ready to face it off with Kiambu Governor William Kabogo in the 2017 elections.

“I’m new in the leadership of Kiambu and I am not part of the trouble as has been claimed. I’m coming in like a new broom in the county,” he said.

Mr Waititu accused the incumbent of poor performance and exploiting the vulnerable in the society.
