Tanzanian singer Nandy and her rapper husband Bill Nass have welcomed their first born child.

Nandy has shared the good news with her fans, thanking God for a safe delivery and the gift of her daughter.

“I thank God for the safe delivery of my baby daughter. I just can’t express how happy I am, but all I can say is that I love dearly mum. Now I appreciate the importance and difficulty of being called a mother. Now I know the meaning of being truly happy. This is happiness deep down from my heart! To my hubby @billnass thank you for this amazing gift,” Nandy said.

The couple made public news of their pregnancy in July. A few weeks later they tied the knot in a church wedding attended by friends and family.

In April 2020, Bill Nass, born William Lyimo, popped the question to Nandy during a live TV show.

“We’ve been together for a very long time and have gone through good and bad things. I know your ugly and beautiful side but I choose those two sides. I love you and I want the whole world to know so that today becomes a good day to propose. I love you,” the rapper said while proposing.

But their relationship would tank last year, with the Nimekuzoea hit maker born Faustina Charles Mfinanga, saying, “Those who expected to see me with Nenga (Bill Nass), things changed and we no longer see each other but I’m praying for him.”

This would be followed by many Insta stories with the artiste giving hints that she was not over her ex.

The couple later made up and news of Nandy’s pregnancy followed shortly after.

In January, Nandy refuted claims that she was pregnant for Bill Nass. At the time, she said that if and when she does get pregnant the news would not be hidden from her fans.
