State House Director of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi stunned national TV audience on Friday afternoon when he walked on air and surprised a presenter with a birthday cake.
In a romantic pose never witnessed before on live TV, Itumbi gifted Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe with a white cake while the popular presenter was reading the one o’clock news on Citizen TV.
The romantic gesture was clearly a pre-planned stunt by Itumbi with the help of the station’s management and production team, but which obviously caught Maribe unawares.
However, Itumbi was just done after delivering the cake. He later took to his official media page to dedicate a romantic message wishing Maribe a “long life, great laughter and countless kisses of deep love.”
Itumbi’s bold actions will certainly send the rumour mill into overdrive even with speculation rife about his exact relationship with the renowned media personality. The two have in the past been caught on camera kissing in public.
Here is the wish:
Happy Birthday Jacque Maribe
You have proven over the years that you are a true friend.
As you toss to old age, I wish you long life, great laughter and countle…ss kisses of deep love from nature and man.
I pray for triumph, light and progress in what you do and touch.
Our friendship has grown closer over the years, our ambitions have been joined into a joint grand dream on some issues and our differences are easily joined by a stitching needle.
