Jackie Maribe’s fiancé to be held longer in murder probe
A Kiambu court has allowed police to detain the main suspect in the murder of 28-year-old Monica Nyawira Kimani for 10 more days to facilitate further investigations.
The suspect, Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Joe Jowi, was arrested on Tuesday morning in his house in Lang’ata.
He is the fiancé of Citizen TV anchor Jackie Maribe.
Senior Principal Magistrate Stella Atambo rule on Thursday that the suspect be remanded at Muthaiga Police Station for ten more days.
The court also ordered for the suspect to be taken to hospital for treatment of a wound on his shoulder.
