In an exclusive interview with Nairobi News, the mother of two revealed that she would be spending Christmas at home with her parents and her two daughters.
“We have nothing much for our Christmas, just me and family to be with my parents,” Matubia shared, highlighting the simplicity and joy of celebrating the holiday surrounded by loved ones.
Reflecting on the year that’s drawing to a close, Matubia expressed pride in the wins she achieved both in her private and public life.
“Some wins I have achieved in my private life, while others in my public life. I am so proud of myself. When I look back in January, if someone told me I would be here, I think I would not have agreed. I always remember who I am and why I do it and who I do it for,” she said.

Matubia revealed, “Got heartbroken, cried alone, lost weight, partied hard, traveled, and spent quality time with family.”
Additionally, she has also acknowledged the rift with her best friend, Milly Chebby, and clarified her absence at Milly’s wedding.
Despite the ups and downs, Matubia left fans speculating about a newfound love after sharing a video enjoying cosy moments with a mystery man.
During the interview, she addressed rumors about her alleged relationship with Bahati’s event planner, Maurice, stating,
“He is a good friend of mine, and he got people that he is dating. I am just going with the flow. Social media in-laws have given me him.”
