Jaguar: There’s more graft at Nacada
Popular singer and board member of the National Authority for Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (Nacada), Jaguar, says there is more corruption at Nacada than at the Youth Fund.
The musician was speaking at a tournament he sponsored at Marigiti Wakulima Market, Nairobi, where he visited reformed addicts.
He said he had been calling for investigations into corrupt people at Nacada but the process has been slow and hampered by lack of funds.
“There is no work being done there. Many affected youth have relapsed to drug abuse,” he said.
“I’m shocked that even people tasked with the Youth Fund are squandering money meant for the youth. They are letting down the youth and the President. In this era where corrupt people are stealing money meant for young people, no amount of repentance will save them from going to hell,” he said.
