Jalang’o recovers part of stolen cash, fires employees

Aspiring politician Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o says his ex-employees Morrison Lutiema and Eli Khumundu have returned some of the money they stole from him.

In a recent online interview, the media personality adds the two have confessed to using part of the loot.

Jalang’o who is eyeing the Lang’ata parliamentary seat also says he gave the two some of the money they returned and released them.

“They returned some of the money but I gave them some of it and told them to go,” the former radio presenter suggested.

The comedian had initially explained on his socials that he would forgive his employees and give them back their jobs if they returned the cash, believed to be Sh1 million.

He now says the pledge was a trap to lure them back.

“The hardest job in Kenya is theft. Where will you run to? You will get caught no matter what. They told me they used some of the money they stole to hide, blaming it all on the devil,”

Jalang’o says his former employees were washing one of his luxurious cars when they encountered the cash which they stole and disappeared.

The two employees are yet to explain their side of the story.
