Jimal Rohosafi’s remarks on housewives spark outrage on social media
Businessman Jimal Rohosafi recently took to social media to express gratitude for the hard work that women, including housemaids, do on a daily basis to take care of families.
In his reflection, he specifically highlighted the extra efforts that women put in during the holy month of Ramadan.
“They don’t count the hours, and they don’t rest much. They spend much of their time in the kitchen, serving us and providing delicious foods on our table. During this holy Ramadan, they strive a lot and double whatever home assignment they were doing before,” he wrote.

Jimal went on to acknowledge the tireless efforts of these women during suhur and iftar, as well as their commitment to observing the same fasting as everyone else.
“Today, on this Friday, let’s dedicate our prayers to all our great sisters, mothers, and wives who are doing everything possible to make us happy. We can’t reward them enough; we can’t substitute whatever they are doing with anything; let’s give them enough respect.
We ask Allah to purify their souls and hearts and guide them towards the right path. Our sisters, wherever they are, may Allah grant you Jannah and reward you abundantly,” he concluded.
Jimal’s message of appreciation for women’s hard work and dedication did not go over well with a section of Kenyans.

Just a month ago, Jimal Rohosafi exposed some unsavory details about Amira, revealing that she had worked as a housemaid abroad.
This revelation questioned the sincerity of Jimal’s recent expression of gratitude towards housemaids and women who work tirelessly to care for their families.
Jalyne527 wrote, “Preaching water and drinking wine, the same respect could have been directed to Amira, but you disregarded her big time!!”
Najat Soud added, “But honestly, Amira has been doing that to you, and you didn’t see it as a big deal?This is hypocrisy now.”
