Former Citizen TV presenter Johnson Mwakazi lands new job
Former TV presenter Johnson Mwakazi has landed a new job at TV 47 where he is expected to be the head.
The station is owned by Cape Media which was established by Mount Kenya University (MKU) owner Prof Simon Gicheru.
The station will majorly focus on news from the counties and cooperate news.
AWARD WINNING
The Cape Town media also owns a radio station in Rwanda which is based in Mount Kenya University in Rwanda.
Mr Mwakazi, an award winning journalist, moved out of the Royal Media Services after eight years of service before joining the Wholesome TV.
BANKRUPT
However, he could later leave the station where he served as CEO after the management allegedly went bankrupt.
He was among the employees who were asked to leave until the company asked them to go back.
It will be interesting to see the news anchor who grew up in Kibera slums make back to the screens.
