Joho, Sabina Chege missing from Raila’s big reception at JKIA
ODM and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Mr Raila Odinga has arrived in the country after being away for some days in South Africa.
Mr Odinga was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by his running mate in the concluded election Ms Martha Karua, and Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Other leaders who received Mr Odinga include Jubilee Party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Eugene Wamalwa of Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K), Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi, and Azimio spokesperson Makau Mutua.

The leaders shortly briefed him about the rally at Kamukunji Grounds on Monday afternoon.
Former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho missed the event at JKIA as his speculation of planning to quit Azimio intensified.
This comes hours after President William Ruto received a section of Jubilee Party members at State House led by EALA MP Kanini Kega and former Muranga Woman Representative Sabina Chege.
The State House meeting came after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua held a meeting with Ms Chege and other leaders from the Mt Kenya region.
Ms Chege was among the leading team of Mr Odinga in the Mt Kenya region during the presidential campaigns.

She, at one point, told the media that she had been promised a key position in the government of Azimio if Mr Odinga had been declared the president by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson.
The Azimio rally at Kamukunji Grounds comes after a new dossier that was revealed by the Jubilee Party secretary general claiming that Mr Odinga’s win was stolen.
According to an unverified document, Mr Odinga garnered 8.1 million votes compared to the five million votes of Dr Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
This also comes a week after President Ruto toured the Nyanza region, a stronghold of Mr Odinga and promised them that his government would work for all Kenyans irrespective of their choice in the August 2022 election.
While in South Africa, the Azimio leader met several leaders, including President Cyril Ramaphosa.
