Jubilee campaign cars now get unbranded -PHOTOS

After spending millions of shillings to brand high-end Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) for the weekend launch of Jubilee Party, it seems the party is over.

Just two days after the launch, the owners of the SUVs have started removing the stickers from their vehicles as people get back to their normal life.

A picture doing the rounds on social media shows several vehicles parked in a ragged location with workers busy scrapping off the Jubilee colours.

On Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto led thousands of their supporters in launching the Jubilee Party at the Kasarani Stadium.

EXPENSIVE AFFAIR

During the extravagant merger, the President and his deputy showed up without their official motorcade and used some of the branded cars to enter the stadium.

The duo arrived amidst cheers and ululation from their supporters atop Jubilee branded SUVs that bore specialized “Jubilee” numbers.

The two leaders were escorted by a fleet of four wheel drive vehicles all through the expansive Thika Superhighway to the venue of the expensive affair that was full of pomp and colour.
