Jubilee voter goes viral with ‘UhuRuto Tano Tena’ regret amid fuel tax pain

A Jubilee supporter has gone viral online for publicly expressing his regrets for campaigning and voting for Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto in the 2017 elections.

The unidentified voter took to social media to confess that he had made many mistakes in life,  but voting for Jubilee remains unforgivable.

“I have made lots of mistakes in my life but singing “UhuRuto tena” is unforgivable,” the post that has gone viral states.

Similar sentiments were recently echoed by a hawker who melted hearts with her painful narration of the high cost of living.

The phrase “UhuRuto tena” was the slogan that President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP Ruto used to campaign during the 2017 general elections that saw them win their second term in office.

In a recent poll by IPSOS high cost of living topped the list of worries Kenyans are grappling with.
