Judge stops intended prosecution of lawyer Tom Ojienda
High Court judge Justice Chacha Mwita has stopped the intended prosecution of lawyer Prof Tom Ojienda.
The judge said the court will determine whether the Director of Public Prosecutions acted properly in preferring the charges against the lawyer.
He said it is in the interest of justice for status quo to be maintained pending the hearing of the case.
Hearing of the petition has been set for February 18.
