Julie Gichuru responds diplomatically to KOT attacks

Citizen TV anchor Julie Gichuru has reacted diplomatically to barrage of criticisms from Kenyans on Twitter who accused her of asking Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero soft questions on her show last Sunday.

Julie, who hosts Sunday Live show on Citizen TV says she will not lose her cool despite the below the belt attacks from some KOT.

ACCUSTOMED

“I have become accustomed to abuse & malicious slander but will always be as civil & equitable as I can,” tweeted the presenter.

“God has given me peace of mind. We often don’t recognise blessings yet every challenge is a blessing in disguise.”

Julie’s name trended on Twitter for the better part of Sunday night and the whole of Monday with majority questioning her interviewing skills.

But she had an answer to her critics: “#LifeLessons You cannot keep a stone thrower from throwing stones. Keep above the fray. Never connect your purpose to the will of mobs.”

BIBLE

The born again presenter then quoted a bible verse: “Saul approved the stoning of Stephen. Faithful followers of the Lord buried Stephen & mourned…Be careful who you stone.

“Finally, it seems that we missed the Memo informing us we don’t have to slog so hard to earn a living. If you see it pls sambaza.”
